Ball

R found a rubber ball under our sofa today. She crawled around with it for awhile, gurgling and smiling at the multi-colored rubber toy. When we went to eat lunch, I put her in her high chair. She leaned over and dropped the ball to the floor. To her surprise, it bounced. She was fascinated. Most objects fall to the ground, landing where they fell or rolling away. Nothing, until now, has ever returned to the air.
